Sunrise Software has celebrated a quarter of a century in business and at Barwell Business Park.
After 20 years at number 50, in October 2019 the company moved to newly refurbished offices at number 70. With a combination of staff coming to the office from across the south east and others mainly home-based further afield, the

Chessington location has proven a suitable company headquarters for many years, and a local move with more “hot desks” made a lot of sense.

Not only are the staff enjoying their fresh, new surroundings, but there was a double celebration as Sunrise reached its 25th birthday in December and the team enjoyed an impressive cake.

Ann James, Sunrise Software’s Marketing Director, said: “Twenty-five years is no mean feat for any company, let alone in the fast-moving technology space.

“Sunrise has thrived over the years, developing and supplying Service Desk software to all types of organisation, including local government, NHS, law firms and financial services.

“Sunrise developed one of the first 100 per cent web-based service desks and is known for its attention to customers who meet twice a year at user groups to share ideas on how best to deploy the software to a company’s advantage.

For example a standard query to the ‘IT helpdesk’ –  ‘How do I reset my password?’ – or more complex processes involving multiple departments, such as automating and co-ordinating the process of onboarding a new starter, so that they have a desk, phone, computer and system login from day one.

“In the HR department, it may support grievance or other formal procedures as well as onboarding and leavers with their GDPR requirements, while facilities teams often use Sunrise to log and resolve equipment failures and replacements. Customer service is never far away, and when deployed by IT managed service providers, Sunrise helps them meet their contractual obligations to business customers.
