TV celebrity Romesh Ranganathan has become a partner at Coughlans Bakery.
Romesh shared the news on Instagram, saying: “For years I’ve loved Coughlans Bakery and the innovative stuff they’re doing, particularly with plant-based stuff. I’m delighted to say I’m now part of the firm/partner/head sampler.”
Bakery director Sean Coughlan said: “Big news here at Coughlans Bakery, our great friend Romesh Ranganathan has joined our family, we are so excited for our journey together.”
Romesh, a comedian, presenter and actor, was joined by Sean in an Instagram reel, and joked: “I’m going to be doing more baking, he [Sean] is going to be doing more stand-up comedy.”
Earlier this year, the duo collaborated to create the Ranga yum yum in aid of suicide prevention charity, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
