Petrossian is embracing Christmas with style by relaunching its handmade crackers and advent calendar.
The company said: “We’d be crackers to not bring back the ever-popular handmade Petrossian Christmas Crackers, each containing a surprise gift and Petrossian themed joke.”
Wrapped in eco-friendly packaging, the crackers’ gifts include Fleur de Caviar (dried caviar), vodka, chocolate pearls with vodka, a Petrossian pen, a Petrossian pouch and a caviar key.
The “sought-after” Petrossian Advent Calendar, from Maison Petrossian, features the finest French chocolates and treats such as fruit pastes, chocolate-coated almonds and hazelnuts, chocolate-covered caramelized pistachios, mendiants, ganache chocolates, chocolate pralines and nougat squares.
The calendar’s illustration was created by artist Joann, who uses artificial intelligence. It evokes an underwater quest in search of Petrossian’s priceless treasure: the golden sturgeon. According to legend, the golden sturgeon grants prosperity to those who are fortunate enough to catch sight of it at sea.
In the spirit of this legend, three calendars contain a hidden golden ticket in box 24, offering their holders a 30 g box of Ossetra Tsar Impérial caviar.
In addition, Petrossian’s South Kensington eatery, London’s first caviar café, is open for hire throughout the holiday season. Call 020 3158 0549.
