The traditional Valentine’s 10k run, which starts at Barwell Business Park, is back for 2022.
The 26.2 Road Runners Club event is taking place from 9am on Sunday 13 February as an in-person event following the virtual race last year during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The Valentine’s 10k is a fast, friendly race open to runners of all abilities. The course is accurately measured with distance markers at each kilometre, a large team of friendly marshals and a water station at the halfway point with the finishing line at race HQ, Chessington School.
As usual there will be chip timing, free race photos, a t-shirt for finishers and prizes to be won.
Colin Lawrence-Waterhouse, Asset Manager, Aviva Investors, said: “We are really delighted that this popular and brilliantly-organised event is back for 2022, and proud of the role the business park is able to play in making it happen.”
