04 Feb Barwell businesses asked to support major community event

The long-established Chessington Fun Day takes place on May 28, this year – and is now welcoming stand bookings and donations.

Run by a community committee and local councillors, the family-oriented event, includes a range of fun activities such as a barbecue and fairground rides, as well as stands and demonstrations which have previously included health, employment and recycling.

Kingston Council recently awarded the event a £3,000 Neighbourhood Community grant.
