Barwell companies are adjusting to new ways of working through the COVID-19 crisis.
ETS Cable Components is continuing to provide support, services and expertise to the nation’s power networks with many key staff working from home after being set up with the appropriate IT support. This has enabled ETS to work as normal, providing quotations, processing orders, purchasing stock and offering technical advice.
Aspect is continuing to book jobs for customers who are self-isolating so that people aren’t left without essential services. The company is following advice around general hygiene measures and social distancing and its tradespeople are equipped with full personal protective equipment. The property maintenance company is offering a 30 per cent discount to NHS staff.
MCR’s key people are working remotely with cover for its warehouse when needed. Staff are still very much available to help with quotes, budgets, hire of ibroadcast equipment and tech advice, whether for current or planned projects.
The Wheel Specialist has temporarily suspended services at its branches but customers can still get an instant quote for their wheels as staff are still on hand to answer enquires via email and phone.
Eurocarparts continues to offer a home delivery service but its click and collect service is only available to key workers, roadside recovery teams, garages, NHS and emergency personnel purchasing essential products.
