Barwell Business Park was proud to sponsor Kingston International Film Festival (KIFF) which brought together independent filmmakers, industry professionals and the local community for screenings, workshops, and events.

The event ran from 6 to 8 June this year, and provided a platform for filmmakers from around the world, and in particular up and coming talent, to showcase their projects on the big screens of the Odeon, the Curzon and Rose Theatre.

As well as screenings, the Festival offered workshops and masterclasses facilitated by leading industry professionals along with networking events.

It culminated with the Sunday evening Awards Presentation in which Virginia Gilbert’s Reawakening won ‘Best Feature’ and Rebecca Rose’s The Removed won ‘Best Short Film’. View the full list of winners.

David Cunningham, Founder & Festival Director, said: “Our long-term ambition is to build the festival into an internationally recognised event that showcases the work of the world’s leading independent filmmakers, as well as becoming the premier platform for discovering remarkable new British talent.”
