10 Apr Barwell wishes long-standing landscapers a fond retirement
G.S.W. Maintenance, Barwell’s landscapers, have retired after decades of service.
The company, led by Graham Wicks, secured its first contract in 1996, through JLL integrated facilities management.
Sue Jackson joined G.S.W Maintenance as full-time secretary in 2013 and became involved in the gardening side in 2015, while carrying on as secretary.
When the company left in 2015, they had worked on 83 Aviva Investors contracts as well as those at other JLL sites. The company was asked to return to Barwell Business Park in 2018 to make improvements.
Graham said: “We felt proud to be asked back and have enjoyed working at Barwell over the last few years.”
Maureen Shepherd, Assistant Facilities Manager at JLL, said: “Our landscapers have been with us for 20 years across different sites, they will be sadly missed and I’m sure all the occupiers at Barwell will agree.”
