Barwell Business Park is delighted to announce its first in-person event of 2022 – a sustainability-themed seminar on 4 March.

A partnership with Kingston Chamber of Commerce, the Barwell Business Breakfast will take place at the recently-refurbished Unit 50 from 8.30 to 10am.

The event will include breakfast refreshments, speakers including Ian Thomas, CEO Royal Borough Kingston upon Thames and Ken Butcher, Asset Manager, Aviva Investors, along with a panel discussion and networking opportunities.

Ken Butcher, Asset Manager, Aviva Investors, said: “We would be delighted to welcome occupiers to our first event of 2022 to discuss how we can further improve sustainability across the park and within our businesses.

“Aviva Investors intends to have net zero carbon emissions from its own operations and supply chain at Barwell by 2030, and the same for its investments by 2040 (with a 25% cut by 2025 and 60% by 2030) so we are keen to see how we can work together to achieve this.

“Electric vehicle charging points, LED lighting and wildlife havens have formed part of our plans so far but we have ambitions for more and would like to understand how we can support occupiers with their own journeys.”
