Chessington World of Adventures has closed on Government COVID-19 advice and has provided its car park for use as an NHS testing centre.
Refunds and date changes are being offered for ticket holders and for those with annual membership, passes will be extended or monthly payments suspended.
In the meantime, the car park has become a new drive-through testing station for COVID-19. Testing is specifically for NHS staff by invitation only.
A spokesperson for Chessington World of Adventures Resort confirmed: “We have worked with the Department of Health and Social Care and other partners to set up an isolated coronavirus testing area to test NHS workers in one of our main car parks.
“We are proud to be able to offer our assistance to the NHS during this unprecedented time.”
