Chessington’s Croc Drop ride unveiled as resort prepares for reopening

Chessington World of Adventures has revealed a new ride – Croc Drop – ahead of its planned reopening on 12 April.

Intrepid riders on the new attraction will plunge 25m into the giant jaws of Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits.

In line with the government’s response to COVID-19 and its four-step plan, the resort is planning to reopen on 12 April, however hotels and glamping will remain closed.

Ticket sales have been capped at six to adhere to the Rule of Six and some indoor aspects of the resort may be unavailable and this will be confirmed closer to the time.
