Coughlans sustainability approach has ramped up yet another notch with its new environmentally-friendly cups and lids.

The new range is 100% compostable and biodegradable and follows the introduction of a huge vegan range across its shops including the unit at Barwell Business Park.

Products includes cakes and savouries such as a footlong ‘sausage roll’ and ‘bacon’ turnover.

The family-run bakery said: “We are constantly looking at how we can improve and have a positive impact on our planet.”
