Dernier & Hamlyn’s impressive chandelier showcased on Channel 4 show

Dernier & Hamlyn’s beautiful, bespoke lighting featured on primetime TV after property developer Sarah Beeny chose them for her new country home.

The lighting – lovingly crafted by the team at their Chessington workshop – featured on the Channel 4 show, Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country.

The series follows the progress of Beeny and her family as they swap London life for building a low-carbon home on a 200-acre farm in Somerset.

Dernier & Hamlyn said: “We don’t like to go on about this, but seeing our team on primetime TV was quite exciting – followed by the big reveal of the lighting we made for Sarah Beeny’s dining room.”

It is not the first time the unique, luxury lighting manufacturer has been premier choice for the TV presenter. Sarah Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare saw the revival of Grade II listed stately home, Rise Hall in Yorkshire, in which Dernier & Hamlyn created two majestic brass chandeliers for the Entrance Hall and Belvedere Hall.
