….and best wishes to all our occupiers and the wider community for the New Year.
It’s been a pleasure to showcase the achievements of Barwell businesses in 2025 across our various news channels throughout the year.
Fujikura was selected as a supplier of high temperature superconductors for the UK’s first fusion energy plant. United Business Group became employee-owned, Futera, and Matthew Bronner was appointed Chief Operating Officer at Evinox.
We also spotlighted Opcare’s Outstanding Community Outreach Award at the British Healthcare Trades Industry Awards and how Petrossian supported Team UK to fifth place in the Bocuse d’Or, “the Olympics of cuisine”.
James & Taylor showcased their pioneering brick slip cladding system, Barracuda, at trade shows across the globe including BAU in Munich, the world’s leading expo for architecture, materials and systems. Sega Prize, part of Sega Amusements International, introduced a new lifestyle electronics prize range which included the Tiny Snap thermal printing camera and face-tracking phone holder, Track 360.
Right here on the park, ETS Cable Components moved into a new and improved head office and main distribution centre at unit 44. As a leading worldwide distributor of LV – HV power cable accessories and equipment, ETS said the new premises provided space and infrastructure to better support customers and suppliers, and continued business growth.
Also, in 2025, zero-to-landfill clearance company, Just Clear, was crowned winner of the Barwell-sponsored Sustainability Impact Award in the Kingston Borough Business Awards.
And we were pleased to continue our community support by sponsoring end-of-season trophies for Chessington & Hook United F.C. for the second consecutive year. This continued a commitment to the club that began in the 2021/22 season when we sponsored the club’s youth kits.
Kingston Giving published two new mental health signposting leaflets – also sponsored by Barwell Business Park – to improve the visibility and accessibility of mental health support available in Kingston. “How are you doing?” is designed to help adult residents navigate both local and NHS services while “What’s up?” targets young people’s support.
Barwell Business Park also sponsored the Kingston International Film Festival for the third year running – the platform attracts filmmakers from around the world, in particular, up and coming talent.
