Gocycle’s G4 has scooped Esquire magazine’s ‘Best e-Bike’ award.
The accolade was announced in The 2021 Esquire Gadget Awards, with Esquire journalist Don Nero saying: “If you’ve ever seen a GoCycle whiz by you on the street, you might’ve wondered if you’d travelled forward in time.
“The folding e-bike, which was engineered by a designer from the supercar brand McLaren, looks kind of like a two-wheel Batmobile. It’s different for a reason, though: The bike folds down in seconds, shrinking to about the size of a rolling suitcase.
“From its steady handling to powerful motor and lightweight, sleek design, it’s hard to imagine having a better time on a bicycle. Any bike, not just the folding or electric kind. At four grand, it’s a hefty price tag. But if you want filet mignon, you cough up.”
After winning the award for the G4, which has a 300 watt-hour, removable lithium-ion battery and a range of up to 40 miles with rider input, Gocycle said: “We are proud to say that our pioneering Gocycle G4 was recently crowned best e-bike at the 2021 Esquire Gadget Awards.
“The coveted magazine praised the G4 for its fast-fold, powerful motor and lightweight, sleek design.
“Our pioneering Generation Four Gocycle range sets a new standard for lightweight design, innovation and performance in the portable urban e-bike segment.”
