James Butler joins FluidOne as Managing Director, Enterprise IT

FluidOne, the market-leading provider of Connected Cloud solutions, has announced the appointment of James Butler as the new Managing Director for Enterprise IT.

In this strategic role, James reports directly to Russell Horton, CEO contributing to the FluidOne group’s ambitious growth plans.

James’s professional journey began with Microsoft, where he assisted enterprise retail and manufacturing customers with their technology strategy. In 2009, he founded Cloud Business and successfully navigated the sale to Free to perform Technology Group. He continued as CEO until 2023, and led the post-acquisition growth strategy, overseeing the acquisition of four further businesses and expanding the group’s revenue from £3 million to £14 million.

FluidOne Enterprise IT, based at Barwell Business Park, provides advice, transformation and managed IT services for clients across a broad range of industries in the UK and beyond. An inhouse service desk supports clients year-round through bespoke support services, and a team of certified consultants specialise in all elements of Modern Workplace, Cloud and Data strategy and implementation.
