James & Taylor showcase Barracuda brick slip system on the global stage

James & Taylor are showcasing their pioneering Barracuda brick slip system at a major international conference on façade design and engineering.

The company will be at Zak World of Façades London on 6 November, in Old Billingsgate, the 164th edition of the conference globally and the 7th edition in London.

It will showcase sustainable innovations and challenges in the construction industry relating to the building envelope as well as displaying the latest technological solutions.

James & Taylor’s Barracuda brick slip system features “slips” of bricks to create a decorative and functional external or internal wall covering. This offers an alternative to traditional masonry and negates the need for scaffolding.

The company said: “The Barracuda Brick Slip System represents the accumulation of knowledge and experience acquired since the company was founded in 1988, and it returns us to our facing brick roots, but reflects the current industry disciplines of fast-track lightweight installation methodology.

“Barracuda is original in concept and of unparalleled performance and flexibility. A brick slip system, patented around the world, that we believe will become the market leader in this field.”
