Join us for a sustainable marketing event on 28 September

With the UK Government committing the UK to be net zero by 2050, most businesses are ramping up their sustainability initiatives in preparation.

Yet with clients, customers, existing and potential employees, all keen to know how companies are performing in their net zero roll-out, do you know how to communicate your successes effectively?

On Thursday 28 September, from 11am to 1pm, Barwell Business Park is hosting Kingston Chamber of Commerce’s FREE event, ‘Green Marketing: Communicating Your Environmental Achievements Effectively’.

Businesses across the borough are invited to join us at Unit 50. Guest speakers will share their best practices and engage in conversations centred around sustainable marketing. We will also delve into business strategies that promote environmentally friendly policies, drawing in conscientious consumers and showcasing how businesses can create a positive societal and environmental impact.

A buffet brunch will be provided.

Alexandra Sorrill, Associate Director, Real Estate, at Aviva Investors, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming businesses to Barwell for a discussion on this hugely-important topic.

“Achieving net zero is something we are working to achieve at Barwell, with our ongoing refurbishment programme improving the energy performance of our units, whilst we are also continuing to install emission-reducing features such as LED lighting. Event attendees will also be able to view Unit 50, an office and workshop accommodation, which has been upgraded as part of the programme to accommodate these sustainability targets.’
