Kingston International Film Festival programme announced

The programme for the Kingston International Film Festival (KIFF) has been announced.

Now in its second year, KIFF is a three-day celebration of films made by local, national and international film-makers, along with talks, Q&As, family events, networking nights, competitions and a gala awards ceremony on the closing night.

Running from 23 to 25 June, the festival’s venues include the Odeon and Curzon cinemas, Rose Theatre and Kingston University’s Town House.

New for this year is an outdoor evening screening in Canbury Gardens on 24 June. Guests are invited to bring picnic blankets to enjoy Bugsy Malone. Drinks, refreshments and snacks will be available.

Alexandra Sorrill, Asset Manager at Aviva Investors, the owners of Barwell, said: “As a sponsor of the Kingston International Film Festival, we are truly looking forward to the event and pleased to support grassroots creative industries and broadening the cultural offer in the local community.”
