London Wall has funded the planting of 7,565 trees across four global projects as part of its initiative with Ecologi.
They are:
1) Forest restoration in Kenya, 4,285 trees
2) Mangrove planting in Madagascar, 2,315 trees
3) A flourishing future for Gewocha Forest in Ethiopia, 570 trees
4) Planting forest gardens in Busoga (Uganda), 395 trees
The company said: “Healthy trees sequester CO2, making them climate champions from the moment they’re planted. They also help to restore healthy ecosystems, sequestering and storing even more carbon in soils and plant biomass, as well as boosting biodiversity.
“We’re proud to continue our journey and support the fantastic work done by Ecologi.”
Ecologi is an organisation empowering businesses to accelerate global climate action.
