15 Jun No unlucky numbers as Burlodge celebrates 13 years’ service to Army veterans
Burlodge is celebrating 13 years of support for the Chelsea Pensioners.
The company’s food delivery trolleys have been used at the Royal Hospital throughout that time to ensure meals are delivered efficiently and at optimal temperatures.
The company said: “Our partnership with The Royal Hospital Chelsea started 13 years ago when we installed our Multigen 105 bulk trolley. Both King Charles II and Sir Christopher Wren worked for this beautiful architectural site that, today, hosts 300 army veterans, ordinary soldiers who served in the Armed Forces.
“The world knows them as the Chelsea Pensioners, and we are so proud to be able to witness heroes helping heroes with our innovative Multigen 106 bulk trolleys.”
The Multigen 106 convected oven technology, combined with smart controls and oven temperature dynamic feedback, can precisely split the temperature within one heating chamber.
This allows for delicate and denser foods to achieve the preferred serving temperature at the same time. For example, roast potatoes and pies can be prepared alongside peas and rice. It can also regenerate frozen and chilled food simultaneously.
