03 Aug PRICE REDUCTIONS AT KIND-HEARTED COUGHLANS!

Coughlans customers may have noticed a few changes to product prices as the bakery passes VAT savings onto its customers.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has reduced VAT by 15% until January, to support businesses through the COVID-19 crisis.

Coughlans said: “We are passing this saving straight on to all our wonderful customers who’ve supported us through these strangest of times.”

Hot savouries, sandwiches, toasties and drinks will all be reduced in price.

The branch at Barwell Business Park reopened in May, with safety screens, staff wearing PPE and socially-distanced queuing.

Customers are also asked to wear a face mask. Coughlans tweeted: “It’s the strangest of strange times but we are all in this together and we’ll get through this together too with a bit of love and kindness and thinking of others.”
