Recycling bins have now been placed inside the newly-built bin container next to Coughlans – why not drop items off as you pick up your morning coffee!
The colourful bins enable lots of different materials to be recycled:
- Blue Bin – home hygiene which includes spray and hand pumps as well as disposable gloves but no bottles.
- Purple Bin – health and beauty such as plastic tubes and make-up containers but no bottles, glass or aerosols.
- Yellow Bin – spectacles and sunglasses.
- Orange Bin – plastic oral hygiene but not electrical, battery-operated or bamboo items and also no retainers.
- Red Bin – Pringles tubes only, not store branded and these should be squashed flat.
The bins are located to the right of Coughlans, behind the bike store and opposite the rear of unit 42 and 43. They are available for occupiers and the wider community to use.
