Roomservice by CORT, the UK’s leading home furniture rental company and longstanding Barwell Business Park occupier, is celebrating 40 years in business.

The company, which has just moved into refurbished premises at Barwell, enables people from all walks of life to rent furniture across the UK. It provides show home furniture for residential property markets, as well as student furniture rental packages.

Roomservice by Cort has been part of the CORT Global Network for over 10 years, assisting assignees with furniture rental to over 80 other global locations.

Managing Director, Ken Ebenezer, said: “It’s our 40th Birthday! This Valentine’s Day marks our 40th birthday. That means 40 years of renting furniture to individuals and businesses who have had a temporary need for furniture. Perhaps more importantly, 40 years of re-using furniture that could otherwise have been sent to landfill.

“Throughout our 40-year history we have continued to adapt and innovate our products and processes so that our professional staff provide a service that continues to earn the trust of our clients.

“We enter our 40th year in newly renovated offices and warehousing which will allow us to deliver on projects of varying size and complexity across the country. We’re pretty sure there will be cake involved too (what kind of birthday doesn’t have cake?!).
