SEGA Amusements International has announced one of their biggest installations of the Sacoa Cashless system in Europe – at Gravity Max Stratford.

In collaboration with Funbox Entertainment, the system was installed at Stratford’s new family entertainment centre, in Westfield Shopping Centre. Spanning over 70,000 sq ft and three floors, Gravity Max Stratford offers e-karting, interactive mini golf, Augmented Reality darts, an extensive arcade and much more.

The world-leading Sacoa Cashless system enables visitors to acquire and recharge their cards with credit at any one of the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) award-winning Sacoa K4 Kiosks scattered around the arcade. Players can also redeem their e-tickets at one of the self-dispensing redemption prize machines around the arcade. All this allows for a seamless experience for players and operators.

Further benefits for operators with the Sacoa Cashless Systems include flexible pricing, live income data reporting, visitor analytics, no more coin jams, the elimination of cash theft and reduced staff overheads. Operators have reported an uplift of up to 20% more income since adopting the cashless system in their locations.

With more and more operators switching to cashless systems, SEGA Amusements plans to install more of these solutions with other customers in the coming year.
