United Business Group celebrates 35th birthday and CEOs are honoured for charitable work

United Business Group has marked its 35th anniversary – and its CEOs have received the British Citizen Award for their charitable work.

Terry and Barbara Woods were recognised after setting up the United Charitable Foundation UK – United Business Group’s fundraising arm – which supports The Change Foundation UK and the Teenage Cancer Trust. A fundraising dinner in May generated £65,000 for the organisations.

The British Citizen Award recognises individuals doing extraordinary things in the local community. United Business Group said: “This feat stands as a testament to their tireless dedication, as well as the generosity and support of our incredible community.”

And on reaching the milestone of 35 years in business, United Business Group, which provides workplace technology services, said: “Wow – what a milestone to reach and in all honesty, we are only just getting started!

“From our humble beginnings in 1988, we have grown and evolved alongside the fast-paced world of technology. Over the years, we have been privileged to serve and support some fantastic businesses, helping them thrive in the digital era.
