Webster Wigs takes up trade-up deal to expand at Barwell

Independent production business Webster Wigs is the first Barwell Business Park occupier to make use of its trade-up expansion right, completing a deal for a unit almost double the size of their previous location.

All part of Aviva Investors vision to differentiate the park from its competitors, the Trade-Up Initiative allows occupiers to expand within the park if they outgrow their unit, even during their term of occupation.

Hannah Hunter, Asset Manager at Aviva Investors, said: “The Trade-Up Initiative is designed to create a more flexible approach to leases, allowing flourishing businesses to expand and meet their changing needs as they grow. We are delighted we can support Webster Wigs – one of a number of independent niche British businesses at the park – in expanding their business with an added layer of agility.”

Webster Wigs is a niche/high-end wig production business that design and sell a large range of the highest quality synthetic and human hair wigs.

The company relocated from unit A, measuring 2,338 sq ft Gross Internal Area (GIA), to unit 34, which is 4,460 sq ft GIA.
